Evi Emmer is an Analyst in the Innovation, Competitiveness and Sustainability (ICS) team at IDEA Consult, having joined in May 2024.

She is experienced in innovation policy, public policy analysis, research-driven policy advice, and project-based consultancy. As part of the ICS team, Evi works on projects related to technology deployment, the green and digital transition, and interregional innovation.

Prior to IDEA, Evi served as an IPCEI Policy Coordinator for the Hungarian Ministry for Economic Development, managing complex European Commission pre-notification processes and representing national interests in various international forums. Her earlier experience includes work in RDI strategy formulation and innovation policy at the Ministry of Culture and Innovation.

Evi holds an MSc in European Politics and International Relations from the University of Amsterdam and a BA in Politics and International Relations from Queen Mary University of London
