Our selection process
Our process is both thorough and mutual. You evaluate us just as much as we evaluate you. We take the time to understand who you are, how you think, and whether we can create meaningful impact together. At the same time, we deliberately choose a pragmatic and accessible approach: no lengthy procedures, but an efficient process with room for genuine dialogue.
- Introduction & cultural fit
An open conversation with HR to get to know each other. We explore your motivation, drivers, and way of working, while giving you a clear view of IDEA Consult: our culture and what it means to work here.
- Team Interview
A deeper discussion with a Team Lead and a senior colleague about your experience, expertise, and key projects. We explore the role, the team, and the challenges you will contribute to. This is also your moment to ask questions and engage in dialogue.
- Case Study
A realistic assignment aligned with our daily work. We assess how you frame questions (based on real-life cases), make methodological choices, analyse data and content, and translate insights into clear recommendations. The focus is on your thinking process and reasoning, not the “perfect” answer.
Depending on the role, this may be complemented by a personality assessment to better understand your working style, communication approach, motivations, and team fit.
- Management interview
Depending on the role and level, this conversation focuses on long-term impact. We discuss how you can contribute to our strategy, your ambitions, and our mutual expectations.
- Joint decision
At the end of the process, we make a decision together. You have the opportunity to ask additional questions, connect with future colleagues, and further explore the context.
