Laura Willems has been a member of the Support team at IDEA Consult since August 2021. She obtained a professional bachelor in Office Management at the University College Ghent, with a specialisation in Business translation and interpreting (French, English & Spanish). During her final year, she went to Valencia for 5 months to improve her knowledge of the Spanish language. She then completed a three-month internship at IDEA Consult as part of her studies, where she learned the tricks of the trade. After completing her internship, Laura started working as a Project Assistant & Translator almost right away. She provides support for various projects within the organisation, including administrative follow-up, programming surveys and translating reports and articles for the newsletter. She is also involved in various aspects of HR policy, including payroll management and the organisation and planning of training courses.
