In the morning, colleagues chose from three parallel “walkshops” that match our expertise:
· At IMEC, we immersed ourselves in the world of nanoelectronics and digital technology, where they set the tone for innovation as a global player and absolute leader;
· In Hal 5, we discovered how a historic railway hall was given a new future thanks to creative and sustainable reconversion. The Maakleerplek embodied how collaboration between companies, schools, artists and residents leads to new ways of learning, creating and working.
· The encounter between art and science also came to life during the city walk along the And So, Change Comes in Waves project ( in the context of 600 years of KUL), a tangible illustration of how knowledge and creativity reinforce each other.
After an afternoon of sporting relaxation, we ended the day at De Hoorn, an iconic spot in Leuven’s Vaartkom where the city shows its innovative power.
Our team day thus became a powerful mix of culture, innovation, knowledge and relaxation.
It was also a day of connection. For once, not with our customers or partners, but with our colleagues. And yes, what an amazing bunch!
