Yolène Sempels works as an analyst at IDEA Consult since October 2021. In 2019 she obtained her master in sociology at KU Leuven with option culture and diversity. Afterwards she obtained a master in management and a master in applied economics with a focus on personnel and organisation, both at KU Leuven. She applies this multidisciplinary view in her work as a researcher in various social projects.

Having carried out three master’s theses, two of which were quantitative and one qualitative, Yolène has already gained some research experience. The research into the motivations for joining and participating in cooperative food shops provided her with a first experience in conducting and analysing interviews.
