Evi Emmer started working at IDEA Consult in May 2024 as an Analyst in the Innovation, Competitiveness and Sustainability (ICS) team.

Prior to joining IDEA, she worked at the at the Ministry for Economic Development in Hungary as an IPCEI Policy Coordinator, securing approval for the country’s first two IPCEI projects, preparing and evaluating the European Commission’s pre-notification processes and representing the interests of project participants in various international,  multilateral meetings. She also worked at the Ministry of Culture and Innovation in Budapest, gaining experience in RDI strategy formulations, innovation policy, as well as the preparation of reports and background papers.

Evi studied European Politics and International Relations at the University of Amsterdam, where she earned her MSc in 2021. She also holds a BA in Politics and International Relations from Queen Mary University of London.
