Kris Thys is a consultant/researcher in the Innovation, Competitiveness and Sustainability team at IDEA Consult. In September 2024, he successfully completed his PhD in Applied Economics at Hasselt University. His academic work is focused on the topics of entrepreneurship, strategic leadership and the functioning of (family) businesses. He also has a good knowledge of quantitative research methods. He is experienced in using statistical techniques and collecting and analysing survey data. To illustrate this, he has taught a course on quantitative research techniques and survey methods.
