Emma De Roeck
Emma De Rouck has been working at Idea Consult since early 2021, focusing on socio-economic and labour market issues. Emma completed her master in Economic Sciences at UGent in 2016, with a minor in economic policy. She then obtained a master’s degree in International Development from the London School of Economics & Political Science in 2018. In doing so, she already gained research experience through an internship at Sustainalize (a sustainability consultancy) and through a research project for the UK NGO Charities Aid Fund on Civil Society.
Before joining Idea Consult, Emma worked for 3 years at Belfius as an economic analyst, and so she gained experience in economic analysis and drafting insightful reports. At Idea Consult, Emma already worked on various socially relevant projects, including for the FPS Economy, VDAB, the Flemish Department of Work and Social Economy, Federgon, Alimento, Federation Wallonia-Brussels, the FPS Social Security, Actiris, Province of Antwerp and the Flemish Department of Chancellery and Foreign Affairs.
