Facilitating the development and preparation of the business plan for Liberation Garden Leopoldsburg

Leopoldsburg, from time immemorial the largest military camp in Belgium, lives and breathes military heritage. This gave rise to the ambition to develop a contemporary experience museum on one of the military heritage sites that became the Flemish anchor point on the Liberation Route Europe. In partnership with IDEA Consult and in consultation with numerous partners, various scenarios were explored, drawn up and calculated for this ambitious plan. The most ambitious scenario was translated into a fully-fledged business plan and submitted to Tourism Flanders as a candidate tourism leverage project. However, from the outset, possible fallback scenarios for a more modest and phased development were taken into account.
