EU Project Manager

To support the growth of our activities, we are looking for a:

EU Project Manager

Will you be our new colleague?

  • You have a Bachelor or Master's Degree, preferably with a financial and/or legal background.

  • You have minimum three years of experience in EU project management, including EU tendering procedures, preferably in the areas of innovation, competitiveness and sustainability in the broad sense, with a track record of project management under EU programmes such as H2020, Horizon Europe, Life, and other EU programmes. In-depth experience in working with EU-portals is critical.

  • You communicate fluently in English (writing and speaking) with strong reporting skills (C-level). A good working knowledge of French and/or Dutch are not mandatory but are nevertheless considered as an asset.

  • You have strong presentation and communication skills and are able to work under pressure while respecting deadlines.

  • You are a team player, but you can equally work independently.

  • You are genuinely interested in science and innovation, in new technologies and their economic deployment, in impact assessment and policy evaluation, in industrial competitiveness.

 

What you will do for us and our clients

  • You will support both our teams and our clients by managing EU projects and offers. The following tasks and responsibilities will be part of your work:

    • Identifying and selecting tenders and opportunities together with the other members of the team, and participating to go/no go meetings;
    • Support the preparation of offers for EU tenders and EU proposals, mainly from the administrative (supporting documents), financial (budgeting configuration) and legal (e.g. consortium configuration, consortium agreement, NDAs, experts’ contracts etc.) points of view;
    • Support the implementation of EU-projects won, from the administrative (e.g. administrative reporting, milestones and planning management etc.), financial (e.g. financial reporting, invoicing etc.) and legal (e.g. consortium agreement, sub-contracting agreements, experts’ contracts, IPR management, GDPR management etc.) points of view;
    • Support the management of EU Framework Contracts, from the administrative, financial and legal perspectives, as well as for specific contracts for single EU projects under these FWCs. This includes also the coordination and follow up of procedures for submission of specific requests for services (RfS), interaction with the EU organisations and agencies, preparation and follow-up of legal agreements between partners per specific RfS.
  • You will help in the preparation of reports and presentation of results, as far as it relates to project management.

  • You will be involved in all phases of a project: client and network partners’ contacts, proposal and project management, reporting.
